This weekend will be the 1st Annual Kacey James Hendrix Kingfish tournament at Marker 37 Marina. Kacey, age 12, passed away after a tragic drowning accident on May 15, 2011. He was a kind, sweet, and caring boy who touched the lives of many. In his honor, a near shore tournament will be open to the public Saturday, August 20, 2011. All proceeds of the tournament will be donated in Kacey James Hendrix's name to the Coast Guard Foundation, Corpus Christi Division.
